Everyone tries to update his/her blog with latest fresh content and something that is worth reading. In blogging, if you want to create a community then you must update your blog most frequently. And thus, many of us do this in order to drive more and
more traffic to our blogs. However, usually, in this practice we sometimes update our blog unknowingly with some '
bad content' or '
unpopular' content just to update our blog without measuring the quality. The word 'bad' I used for that content which is either 'illegal' or not acceptable and the 'unpopular' word means, the content was searched rarely on the internet.
Later on, when we go throughout our previous articles and damn find some pages which just got few impressions, though, they were published months ago. So finding those pages which aren't getting much exposure from search engines is a good practice. And removing them from your blog is also a better thing. Because bad or unpopular pages just take extra space in our blog. Few days back, I also removed more than 20 pages from this blog . But what if you remove them from your blog and after two or three days in
Google webmaster tools you see a lot of not found errors??.
